LASER THERAPY
As a specialist in dermatology with a certification for laser treatments of all laser types from the FMCH, I am specialized in the use of lasers for treating a wide range of dermatological and aesthetic skin conditions. With a selection of state-of-the-art laser technology and years of experience, I tailor the ideal treatment for each individual patient.

The laser treatments are performed using different devices, depending on the treatment goal. A Q-switched laser, a fractional CO2 laser, and intense pulsed light (IPL) are used to treat pigmentation disorders, skin redness, sun damage correction, and the removal of unwanted skin lesions.
Overview of Laser Skin Treatments
Laser therapy is an excellent method for the gentle removal of sunspots, unwanted skin lesions, facial redness treatment, and the improvement of sun damage on the face, neck, and hands. UV radiation from the sun leads to premature aging of facial skin and can cause sunspots, vascular dilations, and other sun-related damage. These conditions can be effectively treated with different types of laser light.
Pigment lasers correct pigmentation disorders, while ablative lasers precisely remove unwanted skin lesions and improve the appearance of scars. High-energy light eliminates redness caused by dilated blood vessels in conditions like couperose, leading to a more even skin tone in sun-damaged skin. Laser treatments can also reduce fine lines and wrinkles. All these procedures contribute to enhancing the overall appearance of the skin.

Most Common Goals of Laser Therapy
Pigmentation Spots
A pigment laser delivers short pulses to efficiently remove excess pigmentation in the skin, commonly seen in sunspots.
Fine Blood Vessels and Couperose
Vascular changes in the face often manifest as widespread redness in rosacea or as dilated blood vessels, known as telangiectasia. These can be treated using a vascular laser or intense pulsed light (IPL).
Diffuse Sun Damage on the Face, Neck, and Hands
IPL (intense pulsed light) is effective in treating pigmentation disorders and vascular changes caused by long-term sun exposure, resulting in a more even and youthful skin appearance.
Removal of Age Spots, Xanthelasma, and Benign Skin Tumors on the Face
A CO2 laser can gently remove age spots.
Scar Treatment with Fractional CO2 Laser
Acne scars, as well as scars from injuries or surgical procedures, can be effectively treated with a fractional laser.
